Demo Reel: Maze - 3D Visualization
A peek into a visualization project of a footbridge & maze for an entertainment resort. From a simple blueprint, a few conceptual ideas and some reference photos, 3DTree created the detailed models for both high resolution prints, and an interactive DVD. Check out www.3dtree.co.za
Experience
3DTree is an Animation & VisualFX Boutique specializing in 3D Animation, Compositing, Matchmoving, Rotoscoping, and so much more... We have a number of artists specializing in both 3D and VFX. The lead Animator has 12 years of experience, and the lead compositor has been obsessing in the industry for 8 years. Our experience stems from a few years in zero-budget video production where we learned to take on every task from script to screen. Education
Most of what we know (and in general, what people in this industry know...) is self-taught. So we've kept up to date with every development in the industry.
However, our lead animators have both studied at the Pretoria Open Window Art Academy and all of us endure courses on animation, visual effects, and endless hours of software training.
Speciality
Our speciality is 3D Animation, and Visual Effects. When it comes to 3D, everything from character animation to visualization and title sequences - we do it all. Our VFX department has seriously jacked up its capabilities with more advanced compositing, environment creation & replacement, on-set supervision and HDRI light-probe creation, to just gently scratch the surface.
All of our artists come from a production background, so we have extensive experience in editing, concept and script development, sound mixing and final mastering.

Our facility is diverse in what it offers, but our premiere software is 3DS Max - bolstered with plenty plugins and creativity. Below is a breakdown of software our artists are proficient at:
