Starting from scratch, in six months I have edited two festival-selected films, and done re-edits/repackaging on several more.
According to the directors I have worked with, I am technically savvy, I have a good eye, and I'm easy to work with.

Experience
I have edited two festival-accepted films (so far) in 2009:
* What Is Beauty? by Passion Fruit Studios
* Close Enough? by Canned Peach Productions
From original video capture, through clip selection, pacing, sound effects and sound cleanup, voiceovers, color corection, effects, rendering, DVD authoring and duplication, preparation of stills.
I have designed/implemented all of the packaging (DVDs, covers, etc) and web materials (pages and YouTube trailers) for:
* What Is Beauty?
* Drive (also by Passion Fruit Studios)
Have prepared and uploaded video clips from a TV pilot for YouTube broadcast in 5 segments (including re-editing to make format appropriate starts and finishes).
Education
A decade of professional writing for software companies, which includes working with people of many different ethnic backgrounds and temperments; a BS from SUNY Brockport including art and film courses; a lifelong love of film.
