Lilia Parks is highly educated in the areas of film and theatre production. As a director, as well as an assistant director, she possesses a unique mix of experience, including strong leadership and communication skills, and an exceptional practical knowledge of how to manage a set.

As a director, Lilia is extremely proficient in telling a story, finding structure in the script, and setting up the events in a surprising and unexpected manner. She has an uncanny ability to creatively convey to the viewer deep feelings, intriguing ideas, and illuminating insights about other peoples' happiness, sorrows, and complex emotions as she depicts them dealing with the “challenges of life.”

Also, she possesses a strong understanding of what a particular script needs. Through in-depth analysis, she brings a script to life and conveys the complicated characteristics of a character's sub world, then makes artistic choices based on that character's unique visual view of the world.

Lilia's creative insight makes her well suited as a casting director, where she has effectively filled many roles with wonderful results. She's also acted in front of camera and on stage, enabling her to successfully nurture collaborative relationships with actors.

In particular, she can quickly recognize when an actor has difficulty realistically feeling and conveying a specific emotion, and has the ability to lead the actor into an emotional transition through improvisations. In the process, she stimulates and inspires the actor to exceed his or her own expectations!

Raised in Europe and fluent in several languages, Lilia has developed a distinctive viewpoint that enables her to tell a unique interesting story and create a compelling work of art.
