Responsibilities as a video editor include importing and digitizing raw footage from various formats into FCP diligently organizing footage. Responsibly communicating with the director/creative to determine the most effective performance and camera shots in terms of drama, story relevance or continuity. Determine the sequence of the program by use of script and shot lists. Oversaw the quality and progress of audio and vision engineering and editing. Other responsibilities included: assembling the final video production sequence, consisting of shots taken from the raw camera footage, contacting directly producers and graphic artists to assemble video content for national and local television distribution, providing non-linear video editing and image manipulation.
