Ted Griffis is an award-winning editor and photographer. Griffis has contributed to films, series, and promos for PBS, The History Channel, Comedy Central, TLC, A&E, and Discovery Networks. A graduate of the Art Institute of Boston, Griffis is rooted in documentary story telling, photography, editing and producing.
Griffis won a Telly Award for editing the feature documentary Race to Execution, which aired on the PBS series Independent Lens. Griffis edited the documentary feature My Name is Jackie Beat, which audiences praised at AFI FEST, Provincetown International Film Festival, and NEWFEST @ IFC.
Griffis, through his company GriffisART, just wrapped post production on the feature documentary The Black Candle, a film by M.K. Asante, Jr., narrated by Maya Angelou.
Always searching out unique stories, Griffis will be a part of the upcoming film event, Alice’s Drive - Women Who Drove the Century.
