In my personal life I enjoy creating enjoyable moments with my new family and exploring my new surroundings here in Germany. I have begun learning German while also continuing my French and my wife Tatjana and I recently welcomed Donoven Kent into the world.
When I am not studying German I keep myself busy by creating iPhone themes and cooking. Whether its a new t-shirt or an iPhone icon I am pushing myself to stay creative and develop something new.
|Experience||I made my first website back in 2004 while attending high school at Ravenna High School and I've been hooked ever since. WIth my technical background and passion for visual design and front-end web development is the perfect outlet for my skills and interests.|
I have been providing freelance design since I was eighteen in 2006. Anything from advertisements to window clings. Upon viewing my website you can view some of the bigger companies I have provided work for including: JetBlue Airways, Rockstar Games and UniMarts LLC. My authentic design degree began in 2008 at with an internship at WHIRL Magazine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During my internship I worked on photo manipulation, web optimization, advertisement design and layout. The editor was even so kind as to let me be the first intern to handle the layout of a feature article.
After my internship ended with WHIRL I began searching for a new assignment somewhere that would actually give me compensation for my work and that was not a freelance job. I stumbled upon Advertisers Associates in Pittsburgh during a´job fair that both the company and I were attending. It turns out that they were in the market for a call center associate, but when I saw advertisers in the name I made sure to put my name on the list of meetings. One of the gentlemen who was scouting just so happened to be the art director and we hit it off fast once he set eyes on my portfolio case I had lugged in. With Advertisers Associates my responsibilities included all forms of print, direct mail, original art, web and advertisement. The real kick I gained out of my service with Advertisers Associates was my freedom of design, nothing was quite as cookie-cutter as with a long running magazine.
Since leaving Advertisers Associates in 2012 I continued my freelance work while returning home to spend time with my family until this year when I moved to Germany with my great wife. I also taught myself video editing using Adobe Premier Pro while working on a GUI for a language/cultural English learning ebook.
