I’m an experienced journalist with a degree in Communications since 2000. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting from an American university since 2008.

I lived in the United States for 5 years, from January 2005 to December 2009. In the beginning, I participated in an exchange program called Au Pair in America and after that I got a student visa and went back to college to continue my education in the Communications field. After my graduation in Broadcasting, I had the opportunity of working at a public television in New Jersey and at two TV production companies in New York City. In one of these TV production companies, I was a production assistant for the shows Extreme (Travel Channel) and Man vs. Food (Food Network). These were very exciting experiences and contributed a lot for my professional and personal growth.

Before moving to the United States, I’ve worked for different companies as a press agent in the fields of insurance, health, politics, unions, etc. In the beginning of my career I also worked as a reporter for two local newspapers and a décor magazine. Besides my experience in the Communications field, I would like to point my experience in sales and customer service, fields that I’ve worked for a couple of years.

In the past couple of years, I have been working mostly in the national and international television industry as a producer and fixer ??" including important events, such as Rio+20, 2014 World Cup and Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Last year, I worked as a local producer for an American documentary called ‘Wonder Women’, which recently won the Daytime Emmy Awards 2017, a very rewarding opportunity.

Adding to my professional qualifications, I’m fluent in Portuguese and English and have an intermediate level in Spanish. I’m flexible, single with no kids, and can travel or move to any place I would be assigned to.

I have the maturity, abilities and passion to restart my career. I just need an opportunity to prove that I can learn fast and do a great job.
